Anubias congensis, also known as Congo Anubias, is a hardy, low maintenance aquatic plant native to tropical African streams, rivers, and marshes. It‘s known for its tall, slender, green leaves that can grow over 40 cm long.

Appearance: Long, slender, leathery leaves with a lanceolate, narrow-ovate, or oval shape.

Lighting: Thrives in low to moderate lighting, but high lighting can cause algae growth.

Growth rate: Slow growing.

Placement: Can be attached to rocks or driftwood, planted in crevices, or left to float. Burying the rhizome can kill the plant.

Maintenance: Requires minimal maintenance, but regular fertilization can be beneficial. CO2 is not required, but can promote faster growth.

Temperature: Prefers temperatures between 72–82°F.
