The Java Fern Windelov (Microsorum pteropus ‘Windelov‘) is a popular, beginner-friendly variety of Java Fern known for its distinctive lacy, bifurcated (split) leaf tips that give it a bushy, ornamental appearance. It is an epiphytic plant that thrives when attached to aquarium decorations like driftwood or rocks, tolerates low light, and does not require CO2 injection.

Growth Habit: As an epiphyte, it grows by attaching its rhizome (a thick stem) to hardscape like wood, rocks, or decor, rather than being planted in the substrate.
